Our family headed to Mountasia in Houston, Texas planning on an evening of family fun. We weren't disappointed!
Walking into the arcade we picked up our play all day wristbands. Taking a look around we started with the "putt putt" golf course which was fun, but could use a few updates for the serious player. The children had a great time with a friendly competition against each other and then were more than ready to head to next activity.
Up next bumper boats! I don't know how they did it but the girls were pretty wet when they got out of their boat but the boy there were chasing was pretty dry.
Go go to the go carts but there are few things to note. Go up to the beginning of the line outside the gate to get measured first before waiting in the line to find out that your child isn't tall enough to ride alone. We didn't, and had to go through it again while an additional parent was located.
The arcade has all the kids favorites from Wack a Mole to Deal or No Deal as well as a number of other favorite. Score big or small but don't lose those tickets because you will want to turn them in to get prizes.
Another favorite of the children was the "Make Your Own CD" recording studio. Pick a song, go inside and make your own CD. We played it on the way home and it's a fun way to remember your visit.
Batting cages as well as dining, and birthday parties are also available.
Overall we had a great time. The golf course can use some updates and next time I'll take a towel to dry the kids off. My advice, definitely take advantage of the play all day passes, they are a money saving.
